This is the faction of the dragons split from the Claws of Veeshan and have taken up residence in Kunark. Their greatest enemies are Venril Sathir, Mayong Mistmoore, and the League of Antonican Bards. Ideologically, the Ring of Scale is a much more aggressive faction which actively seeks to subjugate and destroy the mortal races and other enemies of dragons. In contrast, the Claws of Veeshan are merely intolerant of non-dragons and seek to seclude themselves and worship Veeshan from their cities and temples on Velious.
