I did the Math

Sow / Wolf Form / Selos Comparison

When I started my bard, someone told me that the Bard's Selos even without a drum was faster than SoW. So I did the math, and created this graph based on the figures on this wiki and the answer turns out to be - well, it depends!

The calculation I used for all the stats was as follows:

• LevelRatio: ( Character Level - MinLevel ) / ( MaxLevel - MinLevel )
• SpeedRatio: SpeedAtMaxLevel - SpeedAtMinLevel (speed increases per level)
• Run Speed : ROUNDDOWN( SpeedAtMinLevel + ( LevelRatio * SpeedRatio ) , 0 )

So at level 60: Form of the Howler (62%@L54) - 67%@L65) gives the following

• LevelRatio: ( 60 - 54 ) / ( 65 - 54 ) = 6 / 11 = 0.54R
• SpeedRatio: 67 - 62 = 5
• Run Speed : 62 + ( 0.54R * 5 ) = ROUNDDOWN( 64.72R , 0 ) = 64
