| description = There is a static A Basalt Drake spawn at (-1280, 740) in the Rathe Mountains that makes for an excellent AFK camp and a good alternative to the nearby [[A Giant Skeleton]] camp. It respawns every six minutes and drops a variety of research components, lesser gems, and other minor loot. The only caveat is that Rharzar (a hostile level 55 emerald drake) or its PH paths very close to the spawn point. But as the circle that Rharzar travels around the sphinx Zazamouhk's hill is fixed, this danger is easily avoided.

None of the drakes in the area (including Rharzar) are social with one another, so it's perfectly safe to pull past or even fight beside another drake. There is also a pair of wandering An Ebon Drake that path nearby the A Basalt Drake's spawn point, and they too can be easily picked off at leisure if one has the spare mana. All in all, this is a very safe spot to AFK at, with the only two major dangers (Zazamouhk and Rharzar) being either static or on a fixed path. I set up on the little hill in the background of the screenshot above, and gained several levels without ever aggroing anything that I didn't choose start a fight with myself.

Rharzar's PH is "[[a drake]]" and it roams right in front of the A Basalt Drake spawn point. If "a drake" is up, you may want to avoid killing it to avoid spawning [[Rharzar]].
