It is rumored that you need a strong raid to visit the realm of Bristlebane but this is nonsense. With a bit preparation it's very likely you can visit this mysterious place yourself if you belong to one of these classes and are at least in dubiously standing with the [[Claws of Veeshan]] dragon faction:

* Cleric
* Paladin
* Necromancer 

These classes all get a spell to make them invulnerable for a limited amount of time. Clerics even get two versions of this spell and can skip the next part. They are:

* Cleric: [[Divine Aura]] at level 1 and [[Divine Barrier]] at level 29
* Paladins: [[Divine Aura]] at Level 55
* Shadow Knights: [[Harmshield]] at Level 51 - '''SK's do not get Harmshield in P99'''
* Necromancers: [[Harmshield]] at Level 20
* Bards: [[Kazumi's Note of Preservation]] at level 60

These spells are fine and useful, but wont be enough for what we need.

The first thing you need to get is a {{:Shiny Brass Idol}}. An {{:Earring of the Frozen Skull}} might also be serviceable. The idol has one charge of Divine Aura with instant casting time, while the earring has a second of casting time, but four charges. The Idol can be purchased or camped at the Orc side of [[Highpass Hold]] if you are more patient, while the earring requires a lot more dedication. Read [[Coldain Ring Quests]]. Now here's the plan and a map:

Travel to the Temple of Veeshan. Before zoning in, get a [[Spirit of the Wolf]]. Inside, run north a bit until you arrive at the crossroad. To the north of you lies the infamous northern wing. That is where we need to go. Take a deep breath, ready your shiny brass idol by putting it in a main inventory slot and hot-keying it. Also make sure you have memorized your invulnerability spell. Don't forget to wait until the spell is ready.

Now make yourself invisible, open the door to the north wing and immediately rush to the right. Now follow the red line on the map. You are still safe because nothing here can see you yet.
As soon as you reach the end of the red line and the beginning of the green line, it's time to cast your Invulnerability Spell but don't use the Brass Idol yet. Run north until you see a giant pit, then turn left and follow the edge of the lava.

Your first invulnerability should slowly fade at this point. If you feel lucky, wait a few seconds to buy yourself some time and keep running unprotected. If mobs are too close, right-click the brass Idol to refresh your invulnerability.

When the edge of the lava ends, and you are in a tunnel again, turn right. Now you have almost made it, just a few more steps. Keep running north until you see a half-room on the left side. On the floor of this half room is a very tiny pyramid. As you approach this tiny pyramid, keep clicking on it, but don't stop running. When you are close enough your click will take you to the Plane of Mischief.
