The Burynai are a race of badger-like creatures found in Kunark, specifically Field of Bone and Frontier Mountains and the dungeons contained therein. They tend to be Warriors and Clerics. In Kurn's Tower, they are Warriors, Shamans, and Shadow Knights.
Players start out at dubious faction standing, and just one kill will turn you threatening without any way to raise your faction. It is for this reason some players choose not to kill the Burynai in Kurn's Tower so that they can more safely traverse its basement.
