The Earring of Essence is a popular item which can be farmed by many higher-level characters.
Item: Earring of Essence

Requirements: Can be soloed by a 55+ Druid or Shaman (and possibly by other classes or lower levels)
Value: As of May 2017 sold for 3.5-4k on Red and 2.5-3k on Blue

Getting to the Area

Summary
Cast Spirit of Wolf before entering Droga, as it can't be cast inside. You may wish to cast other buffs as well, then head. Follow the map above to reach the temple area. Sow up, buff up, you know the drill you've farmed millions of plat on a level 55 druid.... zone in and make your way down.
Head in to the "inner sanctum" area of Droga, and then in to the temple. Most likely Soothsayer Dregzak won't be up, so kill his placeholder by hugging the corner it is in. As soon as the placeholder is killed start your timer (20 min, 20 sec), re-cast your invisibility spell and run to a safe area such as on top of the entrance. Rest up, and if you're on Red hope that no other farmer is coming for the camp.
Once you are at full mana you may wish to log out to preserve your Spirit of the Wolf for as long as possible (especially on Red). Your timer will let you know when it's time to log back in.
A minute or two before the respawn log back in. If you are on red, suss out the zone: if no one is in it or fighting you for the camp you can rinse and repeat the above process untill you get an Earring of Essence.
