The entry stating the the XP calculator from the wayback machine link is post-"smoothing" does not seem to be correct. While the link itself is from that era, you can move backwards to mid-Velious and the Hell Level modifiers are the same, which is to say that they are quite different than what is presented here on this page. I am waiting for some kind of confirmation from the Devs that this is what they used before editing this page. ~Sabin76
