I just did this on my wiz, and forgot about the Arantir timer, so he despawned. I went through the quest again starting from buying the potion, exchanging it in Erudin, then turning it in to Dargon to re-spawn Arantir. I then immediately asked about the gnome, never turning in my original second ring (from Felwithe), which I still have. This can be done without help, but it costs more. One can probably skip the Felwithe part and just ask about the gnome after spawning Arantir the first time, but will need to be confirmed. Fzzzt (talk) 00:14, 16 May 2022 (UTC)
