Optional:

• Go to Kael Drakkel and find Wenglawks Kkeak (spot 4 on map, back room) and say "You can trust me". You will receive the Voucher for Mechanical Net.
• Find Kellek Felhammer in the next room and hand him the Voucher for Mechanical Net. Receive Mechanical Net.
• Hand in Mechanical Net to an Outcast Siren in Cobalt Scar to receive Idol of Solusek Ro (Quest Version) (no known use).

Mandatory:

• Get three (3) Excellent Siren Scales from sirens (not the outcast siren) in Cobalt Scar.
• Hand in 3 Excellent Siren Scales to An outcast siren. Receive Giant Siren Scale Cloak.
• Go to Kael Drakkel and give Wenglawks Kkeak the Giant Siren Scale Cloak. Receive Wenglawks Manly Purse.

Note for final turn in: There is a level 55 Wizard giant in the room with Wenglawks but Wenglawks will NOT assist if that giant attacks you. For the final turn in, you can go in the room invis and hand in the Giant Siren Scale Cloak to Wenglawks quickly and the other giant will attack you. This will not hurt the hand in. You can get the reward and gate with it on your cursor, it is no drop. If you die with it on your cursor the purse will be on your corpse.

Walkthrough

This quest is the third in a series of quests, following Toolset Delivery and Spear Delivery. Those preceding quests are optional.

The first steps of this quest, in Kael, are also optional, and may even be considered a separate and unsolved quest. If you only want the purse, you may begin in Cobalt Scar by collecting 3 excellent siren scales and handing them to the outcast siren.

Wenglawks Kkeak regards you indifferently -- You would probably win this fight..it's not certain though.

You say, 'What third client?'

Wenglawks Kkeak says, 'Are you sure you will be up to this journey? It will take a hardened person to survive the trip. Let alone find my client. Do you really [want to go] out into the dangerous lands in the west?'

You say, 'I want to go.'

Wenglawks Kkeak says, 'I'm not sure if I can [trust] you with this. If you die on the trip, I will be losing profit! The other deliveries were much simpler, I remind you. Can I really [trust] you as far as I can throw you? Wait, that's a bad example - I could probably throw you quite far.'

You say, 'You can trust me.'

Wenglawks Kkeak says, 'I will curse your immortal soul if you fail, Rums. In the depths of the icy waters of the cobalt scar lives an outcast siren who preys upon her own kind. We have a deal, I will provide her with an excellent hunting net and she will provide me with a giant cloak made of the scales of her kind. Take this voucher to Kellek and deliver the net. Do whatever it takes to get my cloak.'

You receive Voucher for Mechanical Net. Give it to Kellek Felhammer in the next room. Kellek is a merchant, and so will never con worse than dubious unless you attack him. Just hand him the voucher.

Kellek Felhammer says, 'It's hard to belive a Iksar like you is going to make a trip like this. I don't envy you little fool.'

You receive the Mechanical Net.

An outcast siren can be found in Cobalt Scar at /loc -1414 -937 -39 in the water off the southern cliff.

an outcast siren regards you indifferently -- it appears to be quite formidable.

You say, 'Hail, an outcast siren'

an outcast siren says, 'Leave me alone, beast! Or I will cut your belly open and feed your entrails to the sharks.'

Give the Mechanical Net to an outcast siren.

An outcast siren says, "So you are the servant of Wenglawks here to retrieve the cloak. I will need more scales to make the cloak in his size. I have already slaughtered a good thirty sirens and the cloak is nearly complete. Go forth and slaughter my kind and bring me the finest scales you can find. Let this idol be your protection from the wrath of E'ci. I will continue my work on the cloak.'

You gain experience!!

You receive Idol of Solusek Ro (Quest Version) (quest version is no drop with no stats, nothing like pottery created version). You must now find three Excellent Siren Scales (uncommon drops from A Siren Enticer or A Siren Seductress in CS and rare drops from any siren in Sirens Grotto).

Return the three scales to her and she will give you back a cloak.

(1-2 scales can be MQ'ed as of 12/31/2024)

An outcast siren says, "You are an excellent hunter. Tell me, did you enjoy the screams of the sirens as they perished? I find the sound so wonderful."

You gain experience!!

You receive Giant Siren Scale Cloak. Return to Wenglawks in Kael. Give the Giant Siren Scale Cloak to Wenglawks Kkeak.

Wenglawks Kkeak says, 'It is truly a sight to behold. This is the most fashionable cloak I have yet to see. Even King Tormax will be green with envy. This old bag has served me well, I hope you will find it to your liking.'
