Currently Attempting this portion of the quest on 1/9/2018. My first inclination is to wait at location 381, -1140 crossroad and wait for 9pm game time. (29 Wood Elf Druid)
Once I realized no undead spawn, I proceeded to 162, 2236 location, an undead spire (#8 on Wiki Map).
From here at level 29 I have been able to track them as they spawn, first night:
5 Kills, 3 Hearts [(737, 1614), (780, 2549), (1043, 1743), (860, 2515), (882, 137)] - Mcafx
Checked my logs, took me 19 kills to get four hearts. The first 10 kills went with zero hearts.
Handy Map
Deleted a wad of drivel from the description and posted your handy map to the page.
