− | Chardok is the site of the ancient sarnak military fortress that has existed for centuries since the time of Emperor Atrebe, and is considered by the sarnaks to be their home.
| + | |
− | | + | |
− | Note: Confused that mobs or items you thought were in Chardok aren't on this page? Chardok underwent a significant Velious-era revamp, this may be the cause. For more information see Talk:Chardok.
| + | |
− | | + | |
− | TODO: Create two copies of this page, Frontier Mountains (Pre-Chardok Revamp) and Frontier Mountains (Post-Chardok Revamp). Change this page to just be a link to eachn one, with a brief explanation of why there's two pages. Then on each page remove all content from the previous/post era, so that each page only contains era-correct details.

− | The entrance to the zone is not the same as the exit from it. When you enter the zone, if you turn around you will simply see a blank stone wall. Upon entry to the zone you proceed deeper and keep to the left. This will lead you past the entrance to the main part of the zone and, up a hallway, to the exit.
| + | |
− | Mobs in this zone will flee once they hit around 20%, they have a lot of hp and can heal each other through the walls. Although the levels of the monsters in this zone are 45+, this zone is really not doable for any group lower than 50.
| + | |
− | | + | |
− | Warning to rogues looking to explore or retrieve a corpse lost deep inside, Chokidai will see you. There are times when you can sneak behind them, but there are many places in the zone where they'll spawn straight straight down a tunnel or two will flank a doorway, preventing you from going any further. Get a summon, ask a monk/60 SK with death peace, or find a factioned player to run through and drag. This zone is one of the few places where a rogue can not safely travel.
| + | |
− | | + | |
− | Also, the bridge outside Royals (confirm this location), has a Gflux trap that will break hide/sneak if you're trying to go down that way.

− | == Benefits ==
| + | |
− | | + | |
− | Much of the loot in this zone drops off of practically any monster within the zone, making any adventure into the zone useful in terms of obtaining loot (i.e. you don't have to camp a specific spawn to get what you want). This is also an area to get some high level spell drops.

− | == Traveling To and From Chardok ==
| + | |
− | | + | |
− | Chardok can be reached through the evil lizard castle at approximately 5900, -3800. The zone entrance is not the same as the exit, which you can reach by traveling left into Chardok and will return to Burning Wood.
