Although EverQuest was created by a team of many talented individuals, and no one person can claim to be responsible for it, the person who is closest to being able to do so is Brad McQuaid, aka Aradune (his in-game persona).
McQuaid started as the project's lead programmer, but was made the producer and one of the lead designers. He died at his home on November 18, 2019, aged 50, and will be missed by all fans of classic EverQuest.
