In studying the Beholder's Maze, I suspect that killing only Evil Eyes will succeed in spawning both Brahhm and Yymp the Infernal. This is because those two mobs share the exact same pathing and stops as a specific Evil Eye, and while one of those is up, there is one less Evil Eye to be found in the zone. In five spawns I have never seen Brahhm's horn, but I did see the necklace each time.
