| description = I killed all roaming mobs in the desert portion of the west wall by befallen on my first EQ night.  On the second night i moved to the loc listed here and started clearing. At 11pm gametime he spawned on the west wall right by EC zoneline. No one was killing stuff so mabye he just has a static % chance to spawn each night?

52 Druid camped "loc" spot for two real-life days. It never spawned but on occasion a regular Hill Giant would. Starting killing everything along sand line and it spawned within an hour. I believe "a ghoul" near the EC zone line is the place holder.

Description

This elusive giant is confirmed to spawn near (-1035, -1535) at 11PM and 7AM. He may spawn at other times during night. This spawn point also produces hill giants during the day, as late as 7PM. Perhaps they share a day/night placeholder cycle. Pumas have been observed pathing along the same nodes as the hill giants and may also be placeholders. See discussion for more notes.
