8 p.m. - 6 a.m. Game Time Spawn
At 8 p.m. game time, all wandering undead in the lesser Faydark immediately respawn with a chance of being a rancorous ghast. Any undead killed at night then have a chance to spawn as a ghast at the normal zone respawn interval. At 6:00 a.m. game time the undead once again respawn as only skeletons and mummies.
The heart is a semi-rare drop, so expect to stay multiple game nights to collect all 4. Maybe about 25% drop chance for the hearts.
Pro tip: charm a mist wolf for pet tracking to know when a ghast is up. If there isnt one up, just track down and kill the wandering the skeletons and more ghasts will spawn. In one night cycle I was able to get 4-5 ghasts to spawn with this method.
