==Skyfire Named Cycles==

Addition by Menehune (Green): Main cycle is at neg 3594, pos 948 (next to a rock against the hill base), second cycle is not far outside the boneyard wall on a small hill at neg 2375, pos 140. It spawns faster than the main one so it can be hard getting to the spawn point after killing the previous spawn unless you kill on the hill near the main cycle. For the main cycle, the mob spawns under the ground where it will stay for several seconds before it pops above ground and starts to wander off. You can't aggro or cast on it while it's under the ground except with a dispell spell like cancel magic. I keep that on my bar when I'm doing the main cycle. A tip you may have heard is the placeholder will always be blue at level 60. I have found that to be true. Someone below mentioned that some of the named are not blue to 60 which could be true but I have never seen a placeholder that wasn't.

;Felia Cycle
 +
-- To start the "Felia Cycle" you'll have to find one of the roaming PHs and camp the associated spawnpoint for that cycle.  One of these spawnpoints is at -3594, 948 at the base of the south zone wall alongside a rock with respawn 60 seconds after its PH is killed.
 +
*There is a pather that spawns on top of the rock but this is a separate spawngroup from the Felia cycle.
 +
Another cycle spawnpoint is at -2375, 140 and respawns 30 seconds after its PH is killed.

There are several "named cycles" in Skyfire that seem to have a better chance of dropping spells. Kill one of the mobs on the cycle, and the next one pops at random a minute later somewhere within the spawning area for that particular cycle.

There may be as many as four named cycles going at once in different locations, according to reports. I personally can only confirm three.

* The easiest to spot is the "Inner Cycle" in the SW near the BW zone. The mobs here spawn in the flats south of the mountain just north of the zone, and roam the area to the east (past the wall) and west. They can go up the mountain as well.
+
;Cycle mobs

+
* The "Outer Cycle" in the SW is just a little bit north and NE of the Inner Cycle, and you can often find named cycle mobs from both on tracking if you are near the wall.
+

+
The other two cycles would be one farther to the east near the other zone line, and one further to the inside.
+

+
;Graveyard Cycle
+
-- To start the "Graveyard Cycle" you'll have to find the roaming PH, which is always blue to a level 60 ['''EDITED''' by Grimfrost: ''I can confirm that green-to-60 mobs do spawn here. Guardian of Felia spawned and was green to me and there was at least one green "normal" mob that spawned there too. I forget which but think it was a Chromadrac'']. After killing the PH, the next mob will spawn at -3608, 960 in 30 seconds. If a high level bard is involved, one person can invis and stand on the loc while the bard spams Song of Highsun on roaming mobs until one lands on the spawn point.
+
The spawn point is "inside" the mountain rock and takes 20-45 seconds for the mob to pop out enough to melee/cast on it

-- The [[Eldrig the Old]] spawn is located at 550,-4000 (north of the OT zoneline right against the wall). Respawn is 6 minutes after the PH is killed and the camp has no adds, making this a very safe camp if you can handle Eldrig (Summon, Dispell, Dot, 15k hp). Fear works very well here. Eldrig will always drop a Level 55 - 58 Kunark spell. Unlike other named cycles it is either trash or Eldrig, with Eldrig being a roughly 1 in 10 chance. Known PH's are:

Slow but easy method to get the PH: Sit where you can see LOC (330, 2550) this is just NW of the dragon skeleton on the map. You should be by a river of lava, you should be on the OTHER side of the zone from the camp. The PH will roam to exactly 330, 2550 and STOP. If you have hide/sneak/invis prepare for up to a 25 minute wait. He will come here, eventually. Soon as you kill him, you have 6 minutes to run/evac/egress/succor back to camp by the OT for his repop.

**Confirmed still working as of 3/11/2022.** Bound myself at Eldrig spawn point, went just south of 330, 2550 and watched for mobs to roam through me from dragon skeleton to the south and park at 330, 2550 before turning around. Killed PH, gated, and PH started popping 6m later. Good luck!
 +
[NOTE: (60 Druid, 7/4/23) two pats stop at LOC 330, 2550 and out of the two, if the mob paths from SW it is NOT the PH, the correct mob that stops will come from directly south, behind the skeleton landmark, and stop for a moment. That one has been confirmed as PH 4 times.]

The Named Cycles drop a number of 50+ spells, not including level 59 and 60 spells. One significant missing spell, however, is Regrowth of the Grove. (It's possible this isn't true any longer, at least for Eldrig the Old. I looted Regrowth of the Grove on an Eldrig kill on March 18, 2022.)

Spellicon D.png MISSING INFO! Please expand the content.

All Skyfire Mobs

ordered by type/difficulty (easiest at top).

Marking [S] those that CAN summon, and [!] those that are... mmmm... suicidal to solo (one ! per GROUP needed - depending on the strength of your groups of course)

DRAKES:

SPERMATOZOA:

WYVERNs:

WURMS:

CHROMADRACS:

DRAGONS:

  • Talendor [S - always summons] [!!!!!+]

I might be slightly off on some [S] mobs, but I think it's pretty accurate, better assume it summons if you aren't sure :) (I have updated the summoning chance, I am 100% sure, Menehune-Green)

Hope this helps.
