Kelkim Menkia says 'The strings were from a huge onyx drake.' A named onyx drake in the Rathe Mountains.
Spawns at -1700,-15 (see image below) then paths to the hill giant area. To get him to spawn, kill all the non giants in the HG area then go back to the loc and wait ~6 minutes for respawn.
After camping for a couple days, it seems about 8/10 spawns are Drakes, the others are basilisks. Most time effective way it seems is to start by using Highsun on all drakes in HG area (or killing and waiting at loc if no highsun yet), if none go back to -1700, -15 clear all trash around HG area.
