For those interested in pronunciation please first note this word is made up entirely for EQ by the dev Staff.  From this it would make sense that it is meant to be pronounced similar to the root word, [[Aegis]] ('''EE-jis''').  Aegolism pronounced similarly would be ('''EE-jo-lism''').  However every word is not pronounced the same as its root word, most of all in English.

It really simply is not pronounced EEjolism. It's really what one person thought and wrote, has no sway over most of the community. There is absolutely no way you could say there is a definitive or even preferred pronunciation here. Most people say ay-go, in any case.

For those interested in pronunciation please first note this word is made up entirely for EQ by the dev Staff. From this it would make sense that it is meant to be pronounced similar to the root word, Aegis (EE-jis). Aegolism pronounced similarly would be (EE-jo-lism). However every word is not pronounced the same as its root word, most of all in English.

It really simply is not pronounced EEjolism. It's really what one person thought and wrote, and he is free to say it how he wishes, but it is hard to argue it has any sway over most of the community. There is absolutely no way you could say there is a definitive or even preferred pronunciation here. Please keep the academy out of EQ. Most people say ay-go, in any case.
