Raid "Races"
Despite being classic in general Project 1999 has a very unclassic raid scene, and part of that includes a rule that guilds have to "race" to claim popular raid targets. In order to ensure a fair "race", P99 also has unclassic rules about where each guild's members are allowed to start.
All guilds wishing to race for a given mob must begin at or behind these "FTE Race Lines" when the raid mob first spawns. If any characters are in front of the race lines when the mob spawns (as is often the case with "tracker" players), those players must leave the zone and come back before they are allowed to race for the raid mob.
FTE Lines
The following FTE race lines have been established and are current as of this thread (May 20, 2019).
Raid Mob Lines
- Dain Frostreaver IV: Behind the archway just past the zone line
- Faydedar: On the island with the Ogre camp (#1 on wiki map)
- Gorenaire: At the druid rings
- Kael Drakkal: Behind the ice/snow line at the Wakening Lands zone line
- Kelorek`Dar: At the zone in rings or Siren's Grotto zone line
- Lady Vox: Before the ladder at the zone in
- Lord Nagafen: In the entrance tunnel from Lavastorm
- Lord Yelinak: At the fountain to Cobalt Scar or Wakening Lands zone line
