Spawning Information
Spawns at -1700,-15 (see image) then immediately paths to the hill giant area. Based upon my experience, the hardest part of getting Blackwing to spawn is finding it's placeholder. The easiest way to do this is to run over the the hill giants area and gather up every non-hill giant mob (including Lizardmen and Basilisks before you swarm them all down. After clearing the mobs return to -1700, -15 and wait ~6 minutes for the respawn. Once you have this spawn locked down you will have Blackwing in no time!
Dangers
The primary danger in this area is the drake that is involved in the Shadowknight epic, Rharzar, if he is up. This Drake is level 55, KOS, sees invis, and nukes for 650. It is very easy to avoid Rharzar as long as you are aware of his path.
