There are a number of player guilds on Project 1999. Some are casual, where the focus is on having fun while leveling up. Others are dedicated to endgame raiding, and some fall in the crossfire.

Creating a guild is similar to Live - get a group of friends together (5+) and petition ingame.

Bregan D`Aerth

BDA is a family-raiding-style guild with an emphasis on seeing everything EQ has to offer. To that end, our goal is to become a top raiding guild on the server with a strong reputation of good players having a good time. Players with poor attitudes and/or with behavior problems need not apply. Our playtime is usually around 5pm to 2am EST. We are mostly a bunch of hardcore players who got a life after leaving EQ the first time. Family, school, work prevents us from playing as much as we used to so there is quite a bit of turn over during this play time.

Electric Space Odyssey

<Electric Space Odyssey> is an *ALL-LEVEL* project 99 player guild and an online gaming community - We are but a group of friends who have come together to form a unique and friendly group of folks from all walks of life who all love socializing and gaming on top of working together to help each other out as much as possible while working as a whole for a common good. The guild was created over a year ago and has a presence on many different game servers including Everquest: Shards of Dalaya, Allods Online, Populous 3: The Beginning and SNES/N64/PSX online and more. We have a small tech-team known as the <ESO> I.T Division and also host our own domain (with our website which is located at www.EsoGuild.com), our own VoiP server (teamspeak sign in info is : ADDRESS: esoguild.com / PORT: 9987 / PASSWORD: esoguild.com) for in-game voice chat and our own forums for planning groups/raids/etc, posting screenshots and more.

To form a large and efficient all-levels guild experience with the best aspects of both casual and raiding approaches to the game and community. Eventually a 'raid division' will be formed in-guild for those of us who want to set up planned raids within the guild. (this is already possible on our forums, even without any set group - were simply talking when our numbers increase, this way ; the folks who just want casual exp can do what they want while the folks who want to play as a raid guild can do so too, one guild = many possibility's, we are like a family to one another.)

Europa

Europa is an European based casual guild, we love to play and we love to meet new friends. Europa is one of the oldest guild on this server but due to recent events our member base has to a large degree gotten smaller, we are therefore trying to create something new. We are always open to friendly, mature, helpful and drama-less people, if you feel that this is you as a person and that you would like to make a change and be apart of this guild then we would very much like to have you as a member and friend alongside us.

The guild was created as a home for European players, this means most of us play at European times. If you reside elsewhere, please specify in your application as to why you want to join an European based guild.

There is level requirement to join Europa. Set at level 10.

When you apply to Europa there are certain things we would like to know about you. We want to get to know you both as a person in-game, and we want to know what kind of person you are.

Give us the following information (you can copy & paste this into your application so you don't leave anything out)

  • Tell us something about yourself, for example how old are you and where do you come from?
  • Name, class and level of your toon
  • How much gaming experience you have in EQ or other MMOs
  • Previous guild history - even if it's in another game, or on another server
  • How much playtime you generally have?
  • How did you found out about Europa, have you grouped with us or did you find out about us some other way?

And most important:

  • What you are looking for in a guild and what can you contribute to the guild as a member?

We were a guild back on Rallos Zek on live in the early years and several of the original members have found their way here and reformed the guild. Sapientia

Sapientia is a casual raiding guild that currently raids anywhere from 2-5x a week. Darkwind is a Europa-based raiding guild on Project 1999, however we don't just accept European players. Darkwind has many players from many different nationalities and countries. Our goal, as a guild, is to explore and conquer all that Everquest and it's expansions have to offer, whilst having fun doing so! Dozekar

We don't use vent. We use Guildchat only for raids, and vent ONLY casually. We are small, but get shit done. 15-20 on a night. We raid Hate/Fear/Phinny/Sky on a regular basis. 6-7 days a week. We DO have a bat-phone. not required but recommended. (text for raids).

Raiding: We clear Hate/Fear/Phinny/Sky on a nightly basis. We have cleared Isle 1, Isle 2 of Sky. Most recently Protector of sky downed with 17 players. Our roster has been filling out a bit more as of late, so more sky raids are planned. Gods/Dragons will be on the radar in the very near distant future.

Inglourious Basterds

Otherwise known as IB; the <Inglourious Basterds> were leaders in PVE progression on the server for much of 2010. Most of their founding members were in the guild <Fine Steel Long Swords> before forming IB; a parody guild of the early <Rusty Long Swords>. All parties were excited by idea of forging a guild completely of skilled EverQuest players who shared the eventual goal of raiding competitively. They are currently being lead by Xzerion, and their website can be located at http://www.ibguild.org , IB is also currently allied with Darkwind.

Loot System

IB utilizes a Loot Council system of awarding raid loot to their members. This means that when an item drops, a specific officer of the guild asks for tells of who needs the item. Members then link the item they would replace in a tell to the officer. The Loot Council of the guild then discusses the candidates for the item and reward it to who deserves it and/or what would help the guild out the most in overall performance. Many factors are taken into account when awarding loot, such as raid attendance, previously awarded items, etc.
