Description

Found in low level zones throughout Antonica, Odus, and Faydwer. They are especially common in the northern part of North Ro, closest to Freeport, making this an ideal spot to farm bone chips.

3-4 spawns can be found at 201.20, -315.98 and surrounding area in Greater Faydark.

The Cracked Staff is easily spotted and prized by newbies for its relatively high resale value.

Decaying Skeletons are standard newbie fodder, EXCEPT for the ones in the Steamfont mountains. In all other locales, these undead are level 1 with less than 20 HP, while in Steamfont they are about level 9 or 10.

They are good loot for newbies, carrying many rusty weapons. They also drop bone chips, which are of course required by Necromancers and Shadowknights for their Pets. The bone chips are also an excellent source of extra XP for people whose starting towns offer quests for them[1].
