There are a number of player guilds on Project 1999. Some are casual, where the focus is on having fun while leveling up. Others are dedicated to endgame raiding, and some fall in the crossfire.

Creating a guild is similar to Live - get a group of friends together (5+) and petition ingame.

Casual

Sylver Gryphon Brotherhood

SGB is the reincarnation of the SGB that was (and still is) on the Bristlebane server of EQlive. Founded shortly after launch in 1999, it remained small but went through a growth spurt from 2002-2004 eventually reaching 700 players and becoming for an extended period the largest guild on the server.

SGB now is as it was then; a family-and-friends casual guild with some amount of raiding. For now, I have listed us in the Casual category because at the time of this writing the majority of us average in the high teens in character levels. We do have a couple of high level officers who have been very instrumental in giving us a boost in getting started. We are comprised of about half old-time SGB members and about half new members. In all but one case that I know of, we are all returning EQ veterans.

In game, our activities are focused right now mainly in Faydwer and Eastern Antonica. Most nights you can find us conspiring to kill orcs in Crushbone, waking the dead in Unrest, or possibly hunting in Oasis. Update 1/29: We've been playing in Kurn's Tower a bit lately.

So, if you have normal real life problems like a job, a wife, a mortgage, kids, etc. and you're not some EverCrack addict who plays every waking hour of the day but would like that "escape time" to join with friends and kill some pixelated bad guys, SGB could be for you!

  • Trustworthiness. Don't waste our time otherwise. We're probably older than your average EQ player and not fooled easily.
  • Selflessness. Joining us with the idea that we're going to twink you is not acceptable. We help those who help themselves and each other.
  • The website. ALL members MUST check the forums routinely and KEEP their characters up to date. Unwillingness to do this is a clear indication of your commitment level to us in game.

A New Guild with the mission of helping new people to the server. Ideally we are looking to foster strong bonds between players and accomplish objectives and personal goals in a friendly team manner. Sack Attack

A small, all level guild with awesomeness seeping from its pores. We're a new guild formed from angel tears, that ball David Bowie rolled around on his arms in Labyrinth, rl friends, and a few others. We would like to get some regular/semi regular pvp events going on. Sack Attack is not currently raiding, but have intentions to do casual raiding (oxymoron much?) in the future.

Electric Space Odyssey

<Electric Space Odyssey> is an *ALL-LEVEL* project 99 player guild and an online gaming community - We are but a group of friends who have come together to form a unique and friendly group of folks from all walks of life who all love socializing and gaming on top of working together to help each other out as much as possible while working as a whole for a common good. The guild was created over a year ago and has a presence on many different game servers including Everquest: Shards of Dalaya, Allods Online, Populous 3: The Beginning and SNES/N64/PSX online and more. We have a small tech-team known as the <ESO> I.T Division and also host our own domain (with our website which is located at www.EsoGuild.com), our own VoiP server (teamspeak sign in info is : ADDRESS: esoguild.com / PORT: 9987 / PASSWORD: esoguild.com) for in-game voice chat and our own forums for planning groups/raids/etc, posting screenshots and more.

Europa

Europa is an European based casual guild, we love to play and we love to meet new friends. Europa is one of the oldest guild on this server but due to recent events our member base has to a large degree gotten smaller, we are therefore trying to create something new. We are always open to friendly, mature, helpful and drama-less people, if you feel that this is you as a person and that you would like to make a change and be apart of this guild then we would very much like to have you as a member and friend alongside us.

The guild was created as a home for European players, this means most of us play at European times. If you reside elsewhere, please specify in your application as to why you want to join an European based guild.

There is level requirement to join Europa. Set at level 10. When you apply to Europa there are certain things we would like to know about you. We want to get to know you both as a person in-game, and we want to know what kind of person you are. The Harbingers of Thule are an all iksar guild obviously awaiting the opening of Kunark. The story behind the guild is that the iksar believe they are the superior race in Norrath and the Harbingers of the elite militia of Cabilis, chosen by Thule. When someone sees an Iksar with *Harbingers of Thule* by their name, they know they are looking at a specialist in whatever class they may be.

BDA is a family-raiding-style guild with an emphasis on seeing everything EQ has to offer. To that end, our goal is to become a top raiding guild on the server with a strong reputation of good players having a good time. We are mostly a bunch of hardcore players who got a life after leaving EQ the first time. Reclamation is a semi casual raid guild. We are currently capable of doing Fear, Hate, Sky, Juggs & Reets and Royals. We are interested in doing newer content but we need to boost our numbers before it will be possible. We are a tight group of people that prefer quality over quantity. We are in no way looking to get huge, but we would like to fill our ranks a little more to progress. We use Ventrilo and a paging system for communication and loot council for gear. We, The Mystical Order, are a top tier raiding guild originally from the Fennin Ro server on EQlive. Our debut here on project 1999 started out with a small crew of TMO from eqlive who decided to start a guild here for nostalgia's sake; however, before long we found ourselves setting long term goals in order to eventually achieve the seat of #1 guild on the server. "Vesica Dei is a Semi-Casual Raiding Guild." Serious about equiping its members with planar gear and the skills for taking on bigger targets. Emphasis on strategy, well-played characters, and a family atmosphere. The majority of Vesica Dei is level 50+, raids 5-7 days a week, and raids 5pm-2am EST (some exceptions, especially on weekends). Wudan is an old an well-established guild from Rallos Zek that has been recreated on P1999. Together with Ascending Dawn and MiM Wudan has done what no other guild in EQ history has done: Slaying Kerafyrm, the Sleeper. We are a bunch of old EQ vets who re-united under our old guild banner. Currently (September 2011) we have a memberbase of around 65 people, averaging 15-20 players online at any time. Most of us are between level 45 and 60. We're an international guild with players from all around the globe. Most of us come from Europe and US though.

Merged with Dark Ascension in March 2011 to form Fusion. A fter Fusion (DA+Doze) split apart, some of the remaining Dozekar joined TR. We don't use vent. We use Guildchat only for raids, and vent ONLY casually. We are small, but get shit done. 15-20 on a night. We raid Hate/Fear/Phinny/Sky on a regular basis. 6-7 days a week. We DO have a bat-phone. not required but recommended. (text for raids).

Raiding: We clear Hate/Fear/Phinny/Sky on a nightly basis. We have cleared Isle 1, Isle 2 of Sky. Most recently Protector of sky downed with 17 players. Our roster has been filling out a bit more as of late, so more sky raids are planned. Gods/Dragons will be on the radar in the very near distant future.
