Description
Up in game day light hours only. Spawns at loc -121, -77 near the Port Authority. Wanders near the docks. His pathing is from the spawn point across the dock, to the base of the stairs below the port authority, back along the front dock edge to the other side, back past the port authority to inside Mermaid's Lure, back to the far side of the dock, then down to the base of the stairs below Port Authority. Resting loc most of the time at base of stairs is -110, 46 on p99. Note: his placeholder is Lomarc who follows the same pathing and resting point.
Den is a small-time thief, stealing Blank Scroll Sheets from Captain Rohand and peddling them off to adventurers like you. If you hang out near him, he'll mention he's selling them for 2g a piece. These are droppable lore items that you can turn into Kazlo Naedra for minor experience and Order of Three reputation, which is a difficult faction to improve.

Den Magason says 'Oh, hey there. How ya doing? My name's Den. I work for ol' [Rohand] here, unloading the [shipments] that come in from overseas.'
You say, 'What shipments?'
Den Magason says 'Yeah. We get merchants and traders with goods from here to [Odus].'
You say, 'Who is Rohand?'
Den Magason says 'Ol' Captain Rohand is the owner of the Mermaid's Lure. He trades goods with sailors and sea [merchants].
I think that old man was even born at sea. And he's got more stories than fish have scales.'
You say, 'What merchants?'
Den Magason says 'Yeah. We get merchants and traders with goods from here to [Odus].'
You say, 'What is Odus?'
Den Magason says 'Odus? I've never been there, but I hear it's a long journey.'
When hailed at threatening: "Wha'? Another talking rat? Your reputation with the merchants in this town has put a price on your head.. Begone, before I decide to collect!"
