On 08/24/2018, Three brave souls from a renowned uber-guild put an end to one of the longest-running cons of all time--specifically the Priest of Discord fond of sulking darkly and promoting his obsolete system near the Rivervale Bank plaza.

According to witnesses, the kerfuffle followed the slaying of a young Halfling male who may or may not have provoked an unwarranted overreaction from the socially-awkward skull-fetishizing loiterer. Associates of the slain lad quickly became involved, and bravely assaulted the priest. Jealousiee, a monk of 55 seasons, took to bludgeoning him about the face and neck while the irreverent PoD attempted a standing fetal position defense and slowly crept backward across the town yard to the far side of Fool's Gold tavern. This quickly drew a crowd of spectators, who were inclined to sit on the grass and cheer the upstarts.

The match notably peaked when P.o.D. meekly attempted a complete heal on himself, stirring veteran druids of 60 seasons Sowmeh and Steins to pitch in and heal the strong female combatant. A protracted hitpoint attrition seemed without end, when suddenly a measly gasp croaked from the croaking NPC. A palpably excited crowd watched as Jealousiee pried the Staff of Discord from her opponent's cold, dead hands and brandished it for all to see, instantly shattering years of presumed prowess which allowed the priest to coast by in life for quite some time. At least one victory-murder reprisal followed the initial battle. Both Mayor Gubbin and Mac Deeppockets declined to comment on the events, but Marshall Ghobber reportedly told Sheriff Roglio "I never liked him myself."

When asked why she chose to initiate combat, Jealousiee responded "I don't like his mustache."
