Statistics below based on 500 recorded kills of South Ro pumas.
- No pelt: 170 (34%)
- Ruined pelt: 185 (37%)
- Low quality pelt: 84 (16.8%)
- Medium quality pelt: 43 (8.6%)
- High quality pelt: 18 (3.6%)
In total 29% of kills gave a pelt that could be used to make leather padding (what I was after)
- Chunk of meat: 246 (49.2%)
- Lion meat: 170 (34.0%)
My estimates for true drop rates are:
- No pelt: 35%
- Ruined: 35%
- Low: 15%
- Medium: 10%
- High: 5%
- Chunk: 50%
- Lion: 35%
This is all for South Ro pumas where there are about 13 or so puma-only spawns in the desert area. I do not know if pumas in other zones have the same or different drop rates. Puma skins do not drop off South Ro pumas (none in 500 kills) but do drop off Oasis of Marr pumas (got 1 in 2 kills). The South Ro pumas also drop lion pelts (distinct from cat pelts) but I neglected to keep statistics on those.
