Did you test Truncheon of Doom?

I did actually test Truncheon of Doom, and I consider it to be one of the best Warrior weapons at 60, just a bit less good while leveling up. I prefer it over Willsapper even. Just a quick example, doing Tranix the other day, I was Truncheon slowing all 3 mobs within a minute.

However, I do conclude that the improved ratio and the Root proc of Spade makes it superior for leveling. That said, Truncheon is an excellent choice as well.

"After testing numerous weapons on a megatwink in groups, I have concluded that Herbalist's Spade is the best group aggro weapon for Warriors from 49-60. Good ratio gives you a good burst of aggro on first swing, and the Proc is perma-aggro until Root breaks. Pretty simple. (Just to clarify this opinion, root cause proximity agro, anyone casting root on a mob can hand a warrior agro as long as the war is closest to the mob)."
