It seems the guards are scripted to not be charmable (and extra high MR) when The Tangrin is up. I had no problem mezzing and charming Trooper Mozo for 10+ minutes with The Tangrin down, but once he was up, Trooper Mozo was nearly 100% MR.
If Trooper Taer is only level 50, shouldn't Allure work? --Scotchwiz (talk) 02:02, 3 February 2024 (UTC)
Further verification needed on uncharmable guards
I found that most if not all troopers are uncharmable, and upon noticing the below talk section mentioning this, I attempted several charms and mezzes. My findings: Warlord Zyzz - Seemingly Uncharmable and Unmezzable. Rapture was resisted along with multiple Boltran's. Not tested with Dictate. Trooper Taer, Mozo, Harpin - Uncharmable. Rapture landed successfully. Other mesmerization spells didn't land (Enthrall, Mesmerise, Dazzle).
Crusader Bodli - Mezzable and charmable. Used Rapture - other mezzes may work - and Boltran's. Both landed without issue, charm lasted the entire fight. Did not try Crusader Quarg as Bodli easily beat The Tangrin. Willismcbillio (talk) 08:54, 11 July 2024 (UTC)
In Regards to Trooper Taer Charmability
I have had allure land on Trooper Taer multiple times. There are times where he will resist 5x in a row, but all you need is 1 Allure to stick in order to get the kill. The logan (talk) 11:11, 21 July 2025 (UTC)
MR inconsistencies
It seems everyone has different experiences with what is charmable and what isn't. My guess is there's some randomization each time Tangrin spawns on who has MR and who doesn't. RibbonRMX (talk) 12:46, 5 February 2026 (UTC)
