I have multiple toons on P99 blue. Most of them have names based around the word "corgi." My current mains are Corgarita the gnome magician, Corgista the wood elf druid, and Corgy the dark elf magician. I hope to provide the P99 Wiki with any new information I find!
What does it mean?
A guide to abbreviations in Everquest.

- #1/#2 - Describes a weapon with #1 damage and #2 delay. Example: a dagger 3/24 has 3 damage and 24 delay.
- 1h - One-handed
- 2h - Two-handed
A
- AA - Alternate Advancement; players can allocate points into skill trees for more and/or improved abilities
- ac - Armor class (stat)
- alt - A player's other character(s) that the player doesn't play the most; for-fun characters
- AFK - Away from keyboard
- aggro - Whoever pulls aggro has the enemy attacking/focusing on them
- assist - Help attack the same enemy as your target
- AoE - Area of effect; the item or spell affect the area in all directions around the player in a limited radius
B
- baby - Low level character
- BB - Butcherblock Mountains (zone)
- belt - Usually refers to a Crushbone Belt or Deathfist Slashed Belt. These can be turned in for faction reputation and experience.
- bind - Change your respawn point (where you go after you die)
- blue - Can mean a slightly lower-level enemy or the Project 1999 Blue server.
- brb - Be right back
- brt - Be right there
C
- clickies - Items that have unlimited charges of some spell effect
- con - Short for "consider." Checks an enemy to see if you can defeat it or not.
- cp - Copper piece
- cr - Corpse run; retrieving one's body after a death
- CB - Crushbone Orcs
D
- dd - Direct damage; the spell hits for all points of damage immediately
- dex - Dexterity (stat)
- DF - Deathfist Orcs
- Ding(ed) - Gained a level
- dot - Damage over time; the spell hits for all of its points spread out over an amount of time
E
- earthquake - A full-server respawn; all of the enemies will be reset
- EC - East Commonlands (zone)
- EC tunnel - Tunnel between East Commonlands and Northern Desert of Ro; popular place for auctions and people offering buffs and teleports
- EFP - East Freeport (zone)
- ent - Entrance
- EQ - Everquest
- EQ2 - Everquest 2
- evac - Evacuation teleport. Useful for escaping dungeons and other harrowing areas.wa
- exp - Experience (stat)

- f2p - Free-to-Play; membership/play time is free
- feign - Feigning death/pretending to die (skill)
- fizzle - The spell has failed to cast properly. Try again.
- fom - Full on mana

- GFay - Greater Faydark (zone)
- gl - Good luck
- gn - Good night
- gp - Gold piece
- green - An enemy that will not grant experience
- gtg - Got to go
H
- hp - Hit points; the amount of damage a character can take before dying (stat)
- HQ - High quality

- inc - Incoming; a player has attacked an enemy and it's headed your way!
- int - Intelligence (stat)

- k - OK or 1,000 depending on context
- KS - Kill steal; swooping in and killing someone else's enemy when it's at low health. This can cause the other player to not get experience or loot.
L
- LD - Link dead; the player has disconnected from the game
- legs - Leggings
- lf - Looking for
- LFay - Lesser Faydark (zone)
- LFG - Looking for group
- LFM - Looking for more
- log - Logout
- loot - What enemies drop; can be money, items, food, or equipment
- LQ - Low quality
- lvl - Level
M
- macro - A series of "/" commands that run when the macro is activated. This is useful for doing menial tasks such as Sense Heading and Forage while doing other activities.
- main - A player's main character for time and equipment
- mob - An enemy
- mob density - How many enemies are in a small area
- MT - Misty Thicket (zone)
- MQ - Medium quality

- neck - Piece of equipment that goes in the neck slot
- NF - Nektulos Forest (zone)
- NFP - North Freeport (zone)
- NPC - Non-Player Character
- NR - Northern Desert of Ro (zone)
- NRo - Northern Desert of Ro (zone)

- omw - On my way
- ooc - Out of character; this is way to speak zone-wide
- oom - Out of mana
- OP - Overpowered
- orc1 - The orc camp in the northeast part of East Commonlands
- orc2 - The orc camp in the northwest part of East Commonlands

- p2p - Pay-to-Play; membership costs real life money
- p99 - Project 1999
- pc - Player Character
- pl - Powerlevel
- plat - Platinum piece
- plz or pls - Please
- PoD - Priest of Discord (NPC)
- pop - An enemy has respawned/appeared
- port - Teleport
- pp or p - Platinum piece
- pst - Please send tell
- pull - Starting to attack an enemy
- pvp - Player versus player; players can attack and kill each other. PvP is available on the Project 1999 Red server.

- red - Can mean a high-level enemy or the Project 1999 Red server.
- relog - Logout and log back in
- rep - Reputation
- rez - Resurrection (ability)
- rl - Real life
- root rotting - A strategy that involves rooting an enemy and killing it with damage over time spells
S
- seb - Old Sebilis (zone)
- SK - Shadow Knight
- SoW - Spirit of Wolf (buff)
- sp - Silver piece
- spawn - An enemy has respawned/appeared
- split - Using lull or harmony on a group of enemies so you can pull them one at a time or dividing money/loot with others in your group
- stack - A stack of the same item in one slot. Is usually 20.
- str - Strength (stat)
T
- tell - A private message
- toon - A player's character
- toxx - Toxxulia Forest (zone)
- train - Someone has pulled too many and/or too high level enemies and is running to the next zone. Watch out! They might start attacking you if you're too close.
- twink - A low level character that has really good gear from a higher level character. Many players make twinks for PvP.
