I fought one of these and noticed a very fast regen rate, about 3% of their hp per tick. The faster you can burst them down the better.

I fought some other low level mobs in the same area (by the entrance from Misty Thicket), and they seemed to have a normal regen rate, so it might just be the peons. Could use confirmation as well, but reading the ZAM page for this mob people were also noting a fast regen.
