They do not appear to have placeholders that I could find. It took probably 10 night cycles to get all the pages and the binder. Each one drops a page unless they drop the binder. I had all the pages after 2-3 cycles.

Notes from 25-26 Feb 2023 on green: These spawn both at night *and during the day*. Seem to be more common at night. My total raiders killed to receive all pages and tome: 40. (Seems like this might have been lucky, or the drop rate has improved over the years, as others have reported killing 100+ raiders historically.)
