I chose to focus on Weapons, then HP, then Mana, then AC. We want to do fast damage and stay alive. Stats are important at higher levels, but I expect those will have more powerleveling sessions we just want to live through.
"Why would we want to play a frickin halfling?" - We want to level fast and they have an exp bonus. They can innately hide, neither classes have invis, and see through walls, without a shrink, which will be invaluable during CRs.
Couple of pieces will be loaned by Yumaky and Delfi when we play. I've tried to minimize these, and provide alternatives, if you want to level without me offline(hopefully we keep them same levels).
