My monk had a traitors heart, and I turned in the gems and the heart, but forgot to also give a banded bracer to the npc, I went and got a bracer, came and and gave it to him and nothing happened. Didnt get the recommendation. So all items apparently must be given at the same time, or, it has to be a warrior. Amiable faction. I didnt have another heart to test this though. This quest and it's items may have actually been added Nov 2000 and not Sep 2000.
