Sirtha Scarscale

Dreadscale is a quested set of armor for Iksar Shadow Knights. The various pieces require you to traverse much of Kunark to complete.

A full set gives a total of 91 AC, +10dex, +10int, +11str, +21stam, +3agi, +16sv Magic, +7sv Fire, +7sv Cold, +10sv Disease, +10sv Poison, +10HP.

Walkthrough

Sirtha Scarscale

You say, 'Hail, Sirtha Scarscale'

Sirtha Scarscale eyes you intently. 'So, yet another hatchling approaches us. I am known as Sirtha and that is Sarth. We are of [Rile's] children. Who do you call your father, broodling?'

You say, 'I am a child of Rile'

Sirtha Scarscale says, 'Very good. We are smiths for the Crusaders of the Greenmist and I shall make [armor] for you, provided you prove your worth. Fail these simple tasks, and you shall not be worthy to bear the title of crusader!'

You say, 'what armor'

Sirtha Scarscale says, 'I will make [helms], [gauntlets], [boots], and [vambraces]. My broodmate shall make the bracers, greaves, masks, and breastplate.'

Dreadscale Helm

You say, 'what helms'

Sirtha Scarscale says, 'The sarnak are a mockery of the Iksar. They are nothing more than beasts fit only to do our bidding! I require you to bring me the sword of one of their Order of Knights and the head of a sarnak berserker. These beasts have been attacking our patrols of late. I also require a stone called a ruby and a banded helm. Do this and I shall make a helm for you.'

Requires:

• 1x Sarnak Berserker Head - Looted Overthere
• 1x Sarnak Knight's Sword - Looted Burning Wooods
• 1x Ruby - Bought
• 1x Banded Helm - Crafted

The Berserker Head drops off Sarnak Berserkers in the Overthere. is an uncommon drop, but not hard to get. The Sarnak knight sword drops off Sarnak knights in Burning Woods.

Dreadscale Gauntlets

Requires: Skeletal Hand, 2 Star Rubys (approximately 68p each), and Banded Gauntlets

The skeletal hand drops off any Charbone skeleton, easiest place to find them is in the Lake of Ill Omen, but I have also seen them spawn in the swamp of no hope (it droped the hand as well). Charbones can be killed around high 20s with out too much hassle.

Dreadscale Boots

Requires: Cactus Quills, Skeletal Feet, Fire Emerald, Banded Boots

Cactus Quills drop of Suculents in the Overthere. As far as I know any of them will drop the quills, its an uncommon drop. Killable at mid to upper 30s. the Skeletal feet drops off the Thick Boned Skeleton in Kurns Tower. He spawns in the lower level where the stalls are. The Fingered skeleton and Skeletal Cook also spawn in his place. Its a camp quest, but you can stock up on bone chips and pick up a bunch of FS weapons in the process. Part of quest is very easy at or past lev30. safer to solo it at that level as well. Im not sure what level the Thick boned is. Skeletal feet are rare.

Dreadscale Vambraces

Requires: Golra Skin, 2 sapphires , Banded Sleeves

Golra Skin drops off Hulking Golras in Timorous Deep on the iceburg. Very rare drop. Easy to solo at mid 40s. Golra isle also happens to have been my leveling area of choice from lev35-48. easy pulling, no wanderers, good cash loot, and is a pretty obscure place that little people know about.

Sartha Scarscale

You say, 'Hail, Sarth Scarscale'

Sarth Scarscale hisses at you loudly. 'So, you [bear the mantle of a crusader], yes? I am known as Sarth and shall reward you, provided you prove your worthiness to our cause, child of Rile.'

You say, 'I will bear the mantle of a crusader'

Sarth Scarscale says, 'We shall see if you are worthy of that. I shall make [armor] for you, to aid you in your service to our Father. I specialize in the forging of [bracers], [greaves], [masks], and [breastplates]. Sirtha makes the other items of armor. Take care when you address her, hatchling, it would not be the first time a hatchling has left here with scars.'

Dreadscale Bracer

You say, 'what bracers'

Sarth Scarscale says, 'Have you ever seen Bloodgills? I hear they will devour a broodling in seconds and that their scales are tough as iron. Bring me some of these scales, a banded bracer, and a sapphire as blue as the sky. Only then will I give the bracer to you, broodling.

Dreadscale Greaves

You say, 'what greaves'

Sarth Scarscale says, 'Do you know the beasts that call themselves sarnaks? One such beast who calls itself Zorash attacked an envoy of merchants who were to deliver a pair of special boots to me. It taunts us by wearing them as a trophy. Bring them back and the skull of Grachnist, his goblin ally. Return them to me along with a star ruby and your banded greaves, and I shall craft you an excellent pair of greaves.'

Dreadscale Mask

You say, 'what mask'

Sarth Scarscale says, 'Have you ever encountered a drixie before? I crush every one I see. They are an annoyance beyond mere words! Kill the Queen and bring me her wings as a trophy along with an emerald of fire and a banded mask.'

Dreadscale Breastplate

You say, 'what breastplate'

Sarth Scarscale says, 'Ahhhh....a breastplate you want, is it? Well, they are not easy to come by. Fetch me a scorpion chitin. Intact, mind you! They are extremely fragile and must be treated before they can protect your carcass. Also, fetch me a war braid from a sarnak to connect the pieces. I also require a ruby and your banded tunic. Do this and I shall make it for you, hatchling. Now, go!'
