Pansies are spawned by traps in the Plane of Mischief forest area. They are extreme undercons; while they are approximately level 40, they have both the damage and the hitpoints of a level 50+ mob. They run very fast; it's possible to stay ahead of them with jboots, but just barely, and only by strafe running. They will despawn a short time after losing aggro (not always instantly). They spawn in groups of 1-2.
Most of the traps are in the central or eastern area of the forest; there are no traps, or very few, in the far western quarter, where the zone-out tree and the KOS Treasure Chest are.
Their names can include:
- an angry pansy
- a dandy pansy
- a pretty ugly pansy
