Powerleveling is the process of providing a significant, continuing advantage to a lower level player in order for them to gain experience faster. This can be accomplished through one or several means such as:
- The use of spells or skills to avoid taking credit for damage such as damage shields, feign death, or memory blur
- Dealing damage to enemies, but less than half of the total damage they take
- Healing and buffing the low level player with high level buffs so they can defeat more enemies or more dangerous enemies
- Gaining aggro to tank high level enemies that the low level player would not normally be able to defeat
- Debuffing enemies with slow, cripple, crowd control and other support spells
- Providing potions or other consumables like Brazier of Elemental Summoning which a low level player wouldn't normally have access to
