There are a number of player guilds on Project 1999. Some are casual, where the focus is on having fun while leveling up. Others are dedicated to endgame raiding, and some fall in the crossfire.

Creating a guild is similar to Live - get a group of friends together (5+) and petition ingame.

This page has a tendency to always be slightly out of date, for most recent info on guild status and recruitment see the dedicated forum.

Harbringers of Thule

The Harbingers of Thule are an all iksar guild obviously awaiting the opening of Kunark. The story behind the guild is that the iksar believe they are the superior race in Norrath and the Harbingers of the elite militia of Cabilis, chosen by Thule. When someone sees an Iksar with *Harbingers of Thule* by their name, they know they are looking at a specialist in whatever class they may be.

Casual Raiding ("Class R")

Azure Guard

Azure Guard has been around since September of 2011. It was founded by Dulas ( me ) and Nemce ( my son ). By creating AG here on p99 my intentions are to re-live the experiences we had many years ago on live. Only this time, with Nemce at my side.

We are currently a growing guild from level 40 - 60 that raids casually. Ventrilo is used, however it is not mandatory. The nights we raid are random and pre posted on the website calendar. They can be any night of the week from Monday thru Sunday as real life is never on a schedule. A DKP system is used to award loot on our raids. We currently raid fear, hate and sky. We have several chars with their epics including clerics, enchanters, warriors, shamans, rogues, and monks.

Azure Guard is a friendly, dedicated, and knowledgeable group of people who enjoy playing together and want to explore every aspect of the game. We are respectful of others and realize that we all have obligations. forum thread

We are currently recruiting all classes except for shamans and clerics starting at level 40. We are recruiting all classes except for clerics and shamans: honestly Azure Guard doesn't care about the class you play or the gear you have as much as the player behind it.

Bregan D`Aerth

BDA is a family-raiding-style guild with an emphasis on seeing everything EQ has to offer. To that end, our goal is to become a top raiding guild on the server with a strong reputation of good players having a good time. Players with poor attitudes and/or with behavior problems need not apply. Our playtime is usually around 5pm to 2am EST. We are mostly a bunch of hardcore players who got a life after leaving EQ the first time. Family, school, work prevents us from playing as much as we used to so there is quite a bit of turn over during this play time.

Europa stands for fun and mature EQ gaming. We only accept friendly, no-drama players. We like to make EQ entertaining. And you can be part of that. The purpose of the guild is to make new friends, group up and explore Everquest together. We also raid about twice a week (currently Sky, Hate, Fear, Chardok, Juggs and Epics) where you are welcome to participate if you are level 46 or higher. We do this for fun, not for loot.

Indignation

<Indignation> was formed around a core of members who don't treat EQ like a second job. We play around our jobs and our lives away from the keyboard. This is not a mass recruitment guild. Quality over quantity is the mantra we operate by. Currently, we are only looking for players level 45+ to join. The A-Team

Our goal is to have a casual guild (no poopsocking, no mandatory event attendance, no tracking, no drama, no batphoning except perhaps on the new server resets, hell we don't even have a website at the moment) that still does awesome stuff with low numbers. In my possibly biased opinion The A-Team is the best guild on the server. We do the same raids that the other casual guilds do (Sky, Hate, Fear, Chardok, Juggs) but they are more exciting because everyone actually matters, and when we kill stuff we have half as many people looking for a piece of the pie. On top of that, we do a lot of farming. If you want some particular elite pixel but don't want to track/batphone, you can usually buy it. Want to join The A-Team? We evaluate prospective recruits mostly on four qualities:

• Skills/Learning curve: no one was born a god of classic EverQuest, but we expect you to understand the basics and be willing to improve. It goes both ways: we're open to suggestions too.
• Low Drama: every group of people will have issues, but we want people who can work them out like adults. We prefer to stay out of Rants and Flames.
• Style match: we're looking for people who like the challenge of doing raids and farming expeditions with low numbers, and aren't interested in the tracking/batphoning that dominates the raid scene.
• Reasonable playtime: 90% of EverQuest is showing up. We'd like people who play a few days a week or more on average. We tend to be a kind of night-owl guild with people on late EST (like 7AM European time, so that probably won't work).

Forceful Entry is one of the top competitive raiding forces for current content on P99. Formed little over four months ago, Forceful Entry has already proven to be a force to be reckoned with. Our current goals consist of extending our reach into Veeshan's Peak and establishing a solid foundation on which to maintain our position through Velious. Though difficult on this server, we seek to keep a focus on quality over quantity. We are looking for exceptional raiders who come fully prepared for raids and wish to master all facets of the game. Inglourious Basterds

Inglourious Basterds as a guild name is a familiar face on Project 1999. The players within IB stem back as far as the early days of Project 1999 and its later transformation into Transatlantic Rampage. We’re collectively a group of gamers from all walks of life who focus on end-game raiding. The "core" of IB has been gaming together for several years and we've successfully succeeded in meeting our goals while always maintaining standards in quality and organization.

We are focused on preparing for Velious and our goal is to dominate the content of the classic era of Everquest, while having fun. We strive not only to be the first to down bosses, but to do it with less people, with less help, and with less attempts than any other organization.. Inglourious Basterds adhere strictly to an internal code of rules and ethics, a guild-mates first policy. This shapes how we play the game. The Mystical Order

We, The Mystical Order, were a top tier raiding guild originally from the Fennin Ro server on EQlive. Our debut here on project 1999 started out with a small crew of TMO from eqlive who decided to start a guild here for nostalgia's sake; however, before long we found ourselves setting long term goals in order to eventually achieve the seat of #1 guild on the server.
