Neriak Arena (Hunting Spot)

The Hunting Spot

The "Neriak Arena" hunting spot is actually a slight misnomer, as the actual spot is a building adjacent to the arena. The arena is #15 on the map to the left of the foreign quarter, while the adjacent building you want to hunt in is #? (TODO: add this).

Although the XP here is a little slower than some alternatives, because of it's unique location this spot is not as commonly used (and so is usually available). However, because of the mobs being killed here you will hurt your Neriak Queen factions (TODO: Add which) and help your Neriak King factions (same TODO).

Where to Fight

Within the adjacent building, you want to use the stairwells as (safe) pull spots.

Soloing vs. Grouping

This spot has just enough spawns to be awesome for two people, and is particularly good for a Monk/Shaman duo.

If you are soloing, you can walk past the bar and melee the ogre just around the right corner at the red arrow. If you smack him and run directly back to the stairwell, you can single pull without aggroing the guard on the opposite side.

Also, don't forget there's always the troll upstairs in the office who can be singled out.

Note for Lower-Level Characters

Because root spells breaks frequently when cast by a level 55 or lower here, it's less ideal for root/rot at lower levels.
