Description
8PM - 6AM Game Time spawn. At 8PM his PH will despawn and respawn with an ultra rare chance of being Larik.
This is the "Necromancer" Yeolarn Bronzeleaf speaks of for the Disciple Symbol of Tunare quest
He spawns on the bottom step of the undead pillar and his PH appears to be a 10:1 respawn compared to the 3 other undead in the area. Spawns at 8PM, 1AM And at 6AM Hope this helps. If you get the 6am spawn, be careful because that means you have 6 minutes to kill Larik or he will depop when the morning comes at 8am, even if you have him standing right in front of you with aggro. He will depop! (He is an EXTREMELY RARE spawn, expect up to an in game 7 day / night cycles). Can sometimes spawn no NPC at all, which may be a bug and could explain why this NPC spawns so infrequently.
You can safely kill the PH before, after, etc. He or the PH will respawn at 8pm no matter what.
Note: Killing him will trigger A dark elf courier to spawn north-east of the dark elf encampment. It is best to just kite Larik to the camp and kill him there so you're ready for the courier. You can try to kill and then relocate to the camp swiftly after disposing of this necromancer but you have to get to the NE corner of the camp (basically at the zone wall) within 1 min and 30 seconds.
The courier will be at NE corner of the camp that quickly.
Again: A dark elf courier will despawn in a couple minutes after reaching the camp so act fast!
Green 2025 Reiterating that A dark elf courier will despawn fast. So yes, pull Larik there.
Best Strat if helping another player that is not in your group but on the way to loot. Pull Larik to the DE camp NE corner of the camp and kill there. Against the zone wall (NE corner of DE camp) the courier should arrive at that point (just before the DE camp) prior to Larik's corpse opens up for looting. Yes within 1min 30sec or so of Lariks death.
So it is best to just kill Larik and within less than 1min 30sec expect the courier to be crossing your face there at the DE camp and kill it too. Loot both.
