Related NPCs:	Any non-trivial (exp-giving) mob

Part 1 (Optional)

Any mob, even trivial ones, can drop the items for this part of the quest. Frequency of drops appears to have significant variations for some reason.

Once you have all three (3) items, give them to an aged chronicler; It is not known whether this can be multiquested:

• Locket of the Mourner
• Prayer Beads of the Mourner
• Ring of the Mourner

Your reward is:

• A Tattered and Worn Note — No known use other than to provide background info (i.e. flavor)
• 2×Corrupted Body Part

Part 2

Any non-trivial mob can drop Corrupted Body Part but you can also obtain these via Part 1 of this quest (above).

NOTE: The original quest posting explains that you should pick one of the two types of quest givers (see below) and stick to it, as switching would cause your (faction?) progress in favor of one to reverse in favor of the other. This is not confirmed.

Once you have at least one (1) Corrupted Body Part, give it to either of two types of NPCs, which can be found in a few places of the world (do NOT confuse these with the aged chronicler!):

• an emissary of the mourner

 The Overthere (at Hammer Hill)
 Lavastorm (outside Najena)
 Paineel (Yard)

• a penitent cryptkeeper

 Felwithe (outside)
 Thurgadin (inside)
 Toxxulia Forest (on bridge)
 Firiona Vie (near bank)
 West Freeport (outside cleric guild)
 North Qeynos (outside cleric guild)
