Doogle's Drinks
Owned and operated by Doogle McBanick, Doogle's Drinks is the closest you'll find in Thurgadin to what some might call a "dive bar." There are no tables here and only a couple of bar stools, with most of the space being reserved for playing darts. That's right, Doogle's sports the only dart board in town, and potentially also the only taxidermy in town. Furthermore, their real claim to fame here is Doogle's Spiced Rum, sure to light the fire of any soul who dares indulge. Aside from Doogle's Drinks, the only other place in Thurgadin this spirit is served is in the basement of The Broken Glacier.
Taking a closer look at that taxidermy, it's interesting to note the mounted head on the wall is that of a grey wolf. In a city such as Thurgadin this seems like an odd choice of decoration, given the heavy influence of trained wolfs in the Coldain culture.
Hang around Doogle's Drinks long enough and you're sure to run into Horasug, a potentially schizophrenic dwarf (or just a troll) who wanders around the city making contradictory grand statements. He can be seen angering dwarves at The Holy Harbinger, denouncing alcohol and claiming it should be banned from the city. However he then comes to Doogle's and claims he was drawn here by a vision to drink Coldain ale!
