Walkthrough
He is located in the house across from the Office for the People, by the bank.
When you hail him he mentions that he is collecting Tesch Val scrolls. Saying "what tesch val scroll" tells you he is collectiong them for a book and he will reward you for giving one to him. These are called tanned split paw hides, and drop from gnolls inside and just outside of splitpaw. Bring them back for pp or an occasional magic item.
If you read the scrolls (need to learn gnoll), you will see that there are actually 4 different ones. If you turn in all four at once, you will get a Karana's Tear. (Note, I have been told that this has been changed ans that you now only need one scroll to get the earring)
