Qeynos Starting Guide

Welcome

Welcome adventurer to Qeynos, home of the Humans. This guide will help you find useful quests and NPCs in Qeynos and Qeynos Catacombs, and provide suggestions for surviving the animal and insect-ridden Qeynos Hills.

Qeynos

Starting Location

All characters start at 22, 232 , which is right in front of the Priest of Discord.

Guilds (Starting Quests)

Bard

Bards should visit the Wind Spirit's Song and visit Belious Naliedin for their Brown Tunic. From the starting location head West. Then South, to cross into South Qeynos. Then look for Jusean Evanseque, holding a lute. That's the building. Belious is on the right. Relatively easy to find.

Rogue

Rogues of any religion are to find Hanns Krieghor . Go West - that building is Crow's. Open the door on the North Side, walk in, and open the door next to the brew barrel. Walk through the painting, and down the hall until you must turn right. Then STOP. See those two torches on the right wall? Walk between them. Down at the bottom of the path is who you need to see.

If you were a fool and fell through the pit trap...wander around a bit. You'll find Hanns...eventually.

Qeynos Aqueducts

Guilds (Starting Quests)

Cleric (Evil)

Clerics of the Plaguebringer should seek out Xerture Demiagar. As with all Evil Humans in Qeynos, young clerics should head to the Warrior's Guild. Hang a left inside and follow the bones, taking a second left and heading down the ramp. At the gate with Wylin Dodmil, walk inside. The bones point you again to the third door from the left. Walk inside, follow the bones...and walk into the Qeynos Aqueducts. Follow the path until it branches in earnest (the nook with the skeleton doesn't count). Con the skeleton, though. If it's not amiably, you're in the wrong place.

Walk past the bloody scimitar banner and walk all the way to the back. Xeture is in front of the altar. Hand him your guild summons and put on your Ruined Training Tunic. You may also purchase spells here, and use the bank.

Wizard (Evil)

Wizards that got on the Winning Team of Bertoxxulous are to seek out Trenon Callust in the Qeynos Catacombs. Follow the guide to the Catacombs above (see Cleric - Evil) and hang the second right after the gate. Trenon is too cool to hang out with the Magician, Enchanter guildmasters and anyone else who uses pets. Hand him your guild summons note and don your

. Then head all the way back up topside and visit the Good Wizard's Guild in their fancy blue robes to actually buy your spells. They're apprehensive, so they'll charge you more, but hey, that's what winning feels like.

Bank

Location #8 on the map is Qeynos Hold , the town's bank.

Food and Drink Vendors

Galliway's Trading Post sells food, drink, bandages, etc., and is close to the town gate.

Qeynos Hills

Quest Shopping List

• Gnoll Fangs: drops off various gnolls - for the Moonstones Quest
• Moonstones (either ones gained from the above quest, or looted) can be turned in as part of Moonstones Quest also
• Putrid pelts to the priestess in the temple of life (she'll cure your Rabies in return)

Also once your character levels past this guide, Bandit Sashes and Gathering Grain, both in Western Karana (although the former makes you run back to Qeynos) are great quests also.
