Walkthrough

Patch Intro: Shandeling's Roost in Shadowhaven now houses a game of chance. To play you will need to buy a King's Court Token. You then take this token and turn it in to any of the dealers. Based on what your hand turns out to be, you will be awarded a prize. The highest hands will return a gold ticket as the prize. This Ticket can be turned in to win prizes such as a Guise of the Deceiver, Fungus Covered Great Staff, or Holgresh Elder Beads. Good luck to all that play!

You say, 'Hail, Jacob Thornblade'

Jacob Thornblade says 'Welcome! Welcome to Shandeling's, the gaming hall of chance! The game room is downstairs. If you are lucky enough to get a Gold Ticket, be sure to bring it to me for a spin on the big wheel of prizes! Make sure to tip your waitress well!'

You can buy King's Court Tokens from two merchants nearby.

Note: In order to make sure you can use the item, only give your token to the dealer corresponding to your class. If in doubt, hail the NPC first. Their responses:

Vuri Pandar says 'Welcome to Shandeling's Casino! If you would like to try your luck at a game of chance, I can offer you a game of King's Court with prizes best suited for any druid, shaman, or cleric. To play, buy a token from any of the waitresses and hand it to me when ready.'

Tirac Goldbender says 'Welcome to Shandeling's Casino! If you would like to try your luck at a game of chance, I can offer you a game of King's Court with prizes best suited for any wizard, necromancer, magician, or enchanter. To play, buy a token from any of the waitresses and hand it to me when ready.'

Turn in your token, and in return you can receive a variety of things:

Nothing (common) Stat Food (common; the better the stats, the higher the rarity) More Tokens (range from 2 to 25+ - uncommon) Fireworks (uncommon) Gems (rare) Potions (illusions, various effects - very rare) Minor Stat Items (very rare) Gold Ticket (ultra rare)

Should you be lucky enough to snag a Gold Ticket, turn it into Jacob Thornblade upstairs for what is typically a very nice reward.

Upon turning in a gold ticket, a shout is heard across the zone:
