Gargoyle
Description
Gargoyles are animated, flying statues which are often associated with cursed castles, cathedrals, or dungeons. In Velious, gargoyles appear to be made of velium instead of granite or other normal stone. The Imp model is identical to the gargoyle with a different skin.
Gargoyles are usually Rogue or Warrior class and will wield weapons, so Enchanters often favor them as pets.
Dark creatures that roam dungeons, haunted sites and other places with cursed untertones. Their stoned dead eyes are sought after by many adventures, many of whom subestimate the tenacity of such creatures and thus leave theirs corpses as a warning for whoever is fool enough to go after this risky treasure. Anybody who strikes down any of these creatures is sure to feel the wrath of Mayong Mistmoore, as he is their patron, but at the same time will be looked fondly by the Dragon Rulers of Kunark.
