Brell Serilis

Followers of Brell Serilis believe that the surface world is a waste of space. They find true happiness in the caves, caverns, and tunnels that perforate the belly of Norrath. But this is one of the few points that all the followers of Brell can agree upon. There are many different factions who all worship Brell. The Runny Eye goblin clan claims that He is their father, much to the disgust of the Dwarves of Kaladim, who know that the dwarves are the true children of Serilis. The vicious gnolls of Paw disagree entirely, for was it not Brell who sculpted them out of the sacred Clay of Cosgrove? Followers of Brell Serilis can be found, in one form or another, nearly anywhere you enter the Underfoot of Norrath.

Other Followers of Brell

Brell Serelis, also known as the Duke of Underfoot, is said to dwell in the Plane of Underfoot, which is rumored to be connected to the underground areas of Norrath by deep and obscure passages that have yet to be discovered. The entire underground of Norrath is often referred to as the Underfoot, and Brell is generally credited with creating many of the creatures that are to be found there. Some of these are loyal to him, especially Master Yael and the Minions of Underfoot, who are found deep underground in The Hole.

The Clerics of Underfoot and Miners Guild 249 of Kaladim are also loyal followers of Brell, although they spend more time on or near the surface than the Minions of Underfoot do.

In addition to creating the Dwarves, Brell also created the Gnomes. Although some Gnomes do follow him, they are few in number and spend much of their time on the surface, or rubbing shoulders with the followers of Bristlebane Fizzlethrope in Ak'Anon. However, Brell and Bristlebane seem to have a similar appearance, as do some of their creations, and similarities in behavior have also been noted in the Lore of Norrath. Perhaps the two gods are related to each other, similar to Mithaniel and Erollisi Marr, but simply prefer not to draw attention to it.
