Veeshan

The Wurmqueen

Non-dragon followers of Veeshan believe that dragon kind is superior to all other forms of life. They swear allegiance to the Mother of Dragons and often sacrifice themselves or their loved ones to one of her children. In return for this undying devotion, Veeshan is very protective and generous to her loyal followers. Many humanoids have gained great riches and ancient knowledge through servitude to the wurms, but these gifts came with a high price... knowing that one is less than cattle to the dragons, and that they can take your messy life whenever it suits them. To most followers of Veeshan, however, serving a deity is its own reward.

Followers of Veeshan

Veeshan resides in the Plane of Sky in the form of her avatar, the Eye of Veeshan, surrounded by many bizarre followers.

The dragons of the Claws of Veeshan, led by Lord Yelinak, are her most loyal followers on the surface of Norrath. Their stronghold, the Temple of Veeshan, is home to the Guardians of Veeshan who are especially devoted to the worship of their mother.

The dragons of the Ring of Scale and the Minions of Scale, led by Phara Dar, being less devoted to their mother than the Claws of Veeshan and more interested in crushing lesser races, seek to dominate Kunark from the ancient fortress of Veeshan's Peak, from whence they destroyed the ancient Iksar capital of Sebilis and its civilization through many years of plots, intrigues, and war.

Unlike other deities, there are no Deity Specific Items for Veeshan.
