Many guides tell you exactly where to go to gain experience, but this one tells you your options instead.  The guide is for all classes/levels/races, but mainly focuses on soloing.  All of its hunting spots contain monsters that <code>/consider</code> as <span style="color:blue">blue</span> within their specified level range, and are sorted by their range.

=== Experience Modifiers ===

On 03/25/2020, the staff [https://www.project1999.com/forums/showthread.php?t=353369 adjusted the ZEM values] for many zones; this page should reflect their published change.  However, this page is based on the [[Recommended Levels and ZEM List]], which itself has inaccurate values.  It was based on the stock EQ Emulator ZEMs (ie. live EQ's ZEMs) ... but the Project 1999 developers have customized things here. 

Currently, they are the only ones who truly know Project 1999's actual ZEMs.  However, P99's ZEMs probably haven't changed ''that'' much, at least for most zones (eg. [[West Commonlands]] has a ZEM of 100% on live, so while it might have been changed to 90% or 110% here, it's unlikely to have a 50% or 200% modifier).

Thus, even though they are known to be inaccurate, this page uses those same ZEM numbers ... if only to provide a rough guesstimate as to the actual ZEM (which no one knows).
