Nivold Predd says 'What do you want? Do not disturb me lest you plan to assist in my [Summoning of Dread].'

You say, 'I will assist in the summoning of Dread.'

Nivold Predd says 'There are some components essential to the summoning of the avatar of Dread. I require the eye of a griffon, some [powder of reanimation], the brain of the Ishva Mal, and the toes of an ice giant. Fetch me these reagents so that we may summon the avatar to forge a shield worn only by the mightiest apostles of Cazic-Thule.'

You say, 'What powder of reanimation?'

Nivold Predd says 'There is a gnome necromancer who has been experimenting with a powder used in reanimating long dead organic tissue. He is known to frequent places populated by undead in order to pursue his research. Seek him out and procure a bit of his powder.'

Khrix Fritchoff can be found upstairs in Unrest.

You say, 'Hail, Khrix Fritchoff'

Khrix Fritchoff says 'Close the door and be gone, fool!! You are going to give away my hiding spot!!'

Give him a Greater Lightstone (how do you know to do this?). A "Khrix Abomination" will spawn.

Khrix Fritchoff says 'At last I may leave this place!! Good luck destroying my abomination, you will surely need it against my most powerful yet uncontrolable creation!'

  • Your faction standing with Dark Reflection got better.
  • Your faction standing with Eldritch Collective got worse.
  • Your faction standing with Gem Choppers got worse.
  • Your faction standing with Deepmuses got worse.

You gain experience!!
