Davorre Bloodthorn can be found in The Fell Blade (863, 444), Paineel's shadow knight guild.

You say, 'Hail, Davorre Bloodthorn'

Davorre Bloodthorn says, 'Greetings. Perhaps within that husk you call a body there is some worth? Are you [experienced] in your craft, young one, or are you a [neonate]?'

You say, 'I am experienced.'

Davorre Bloodthorn says, 'Ahhhh, a youth doth approach me with such confidence! That is to be commended in and of itself. Ordinarily, I would turn you away without a second glance, but perhaps you can be of some use. Tell me, child, are you [willing to assist] me in a small, yet important, task?'

You say, 'I am willing to assist.'

Davorre Bloodthorn says, 'Good, child. Deliver this note to Veisha Fathomwalker. You shall find her patrolling the outer regions of Toxxulia Forest. I trust that you will keep your eyes to yourself in this matter. Now go, and please travel within the veil of night, so you will not be seen by those whose minds are still clouded with delusions of Erudin's grandeur.'

--You receive a Rolled up Note.--

Seek out Veisha Fathomwalker, who is found patrolling in Toxxulia Forest between the hours of 8am-8pm gametime, and give her the Rolled up Note.

Veisha Fathomwalker says, 'Davorre, he is still alive! All these years I had thought him dead. He has kept his promise to me, and yet my most recent actions betray him so. I did not know. Here. Please give this to him with my most sincere regrets. I have moved on with my life and it is good to know that he is alive and well. But [Phaeril] is now my life.'

--You receive Veisha's Engagement Ring.--

You say, 'Who is Phaeril?'

Veisha Fathomwalker says, 'Phaeril Nightshire is the man with whom I have found comfort during these years of hardship. He has also taken the [position] that belonged to Davorre many years ago.'

You say, 'What position?'

Veisha Fathomwalker says, 'Davorre was once the Captain of Erudin's forces. He was relieved of those duties shortly before he disappeared. Again, thank you, good sir. I shall rest easier tonight, knowing that he is alive.'

Return to Davorre and give him Veisha's Engagement Ring.

Davorre Bloodthorn says, 'Only a few years have passed and her heart has already forgotten me. No doubt she has found another to warm her bed. Go, find her new lover, and bring me nothing less than his head.'

You gain experience!!

In a presumed fit of jealousy, he tells you to find this man, kill him, and bring back his head. Phaeril can be found at the same spot you found Veisha (LOC: -32.70, 609.30, -54.25 - but he patrols). He was spotted wandering at 2AM, so the day/night mechanic here is confounded. He is level 25. Phaeril gives no faction hits when killed. Chop off his head and bring it back to Davorre who gives it back to you nicely packaged in A Locked Chest (identifies as 'A Locked Chest Dripping in Blood") as a present to Veisha. (gory ain't it?).

Give Phaeril Nightshire's Head to Davorre.

Davorre Bloodthorn says, 'Apparently her choice in suitors has drifted to the most pathetic of wretches ever to slither Odus. You have done well, child. I ask of you one last task before my message to Veisha is complete. Here, deliver this to her with my most sincere regards.'

You gain experience!!

Give Veisha the Locked Chest.

Veisha Fathomwalker says, 'Vile creature! Child of heresy! My love's death shall be avenged! How dare you bring me his head in a box!'

You have slain Veisha Fathomwalker!

Return Veisha Fathomwalker's Head to Davorre in Paineel.

Davorre Bloodthorn says, 'My revenge has been satisfied. Thank you, my child. You have proven yourself to be a most worthy asset to our cause. Here, I no longer have any use for this, my ties to the old life are now severed.'

You gain experience!!

• You can skip all of the steps and just kill Veisha and return her head for the Halberd (confirmed on Green 2/2021). Just be aware that she is a paladin and has lay on hands available.
